About us

At Tadka by Madhu, we create everyday clothing with a twist—rooted in Indian handlooms and designed for effortless, joyful living. Each piece is thoughtfully crafted in small batches at our studio in Bangalore, where traditional craftsmanship meets playful, modern silhouettes.

We collaborate with artisan clusters and local tailors to bring our designs to life using 100% natural cotton fabrics—including handwoven Ikat, block-printed, and screen-printed textiles. Our commitment to slow fashion means we produce consciously, in limited quantities, with an emphasis on quality, fit, and thoughtful details.

We’re on a journey toward sustainability. From upcycling leftover fabrics into accessories and homeware to offering customisations that extend garment life, we believe fashion should be circular and low-waste. Our packaging is plastic-free, and we’re actively working to reduce our footprint at every stage.

At Tadka, we stand for fair, ethical practices. We ensure fair wages, a safe, respectful workspace, and strong partnerships with our makers—because we know that people are the heart of what we do.

With Tadka by Madhu, you’re not just wearing clothes—you’re wearing comfort, culture, and conscience.
